Survey Group is working as part of the Benchmark Surveys team to establish Mineral Resources’ new mine, Ken’s Bore. The contract involves providing all aspects of survey support for the construction of:
- A new airport
- A 360-man construction camp
- A five-star resort mining camp for operational staff
- Mine site infrastructure (three primary crushers and related processing machinery)
- Non-processing infrastructure including site offices
- Miscellaneous haul roads and light vehicle access roads for mining pits
- About 150km sealed dual haul road between the mine site and the Onslow Port.
