The Lumsden Point Development is a transformative multi-user facility at the Port of Port Hedland, designed to facilitate the export of critical battery metals and the import of renewable energy infrastructure. Survey Group has been engaged by Acciona as the primary survey team, managing the full scope of on-site surveying duties from initial earthworks and reclamation through to complex piling and structural marine infrastructure (MPI) construction. Our team provides a complete "cradle-to-grave" construction service, ensuring every element of these two new land-backed wharves is built to millimetre-perfect engineering specifications. This project remains an essential strategic gateway for the Pilbara’s transition to green energy and expanded shipping services.
