The West Angelas Sustaining Project (WASP) is a significant $1.1 billion investment to maintain production capacity at the West Angelas hub. The project involves developing new deposits—specifically Western Hill and Deposit H—to ensure a consistent supply of high-grade ore. Survey Group has been directly engaged by Rio Tinto as the lead Audit Survey team for this major rollout. With a dedicated team of 4–5 full-time surveyors, we provide the critical "source of truth" and oversight required to manage multiple Tier-1 contractors across the site.
